Three-day street food festival coming to Dubai

One of the new arrivals in The Greens, Lah Lah at Zabeel House by Jumeirah has proven to be one of the trendiest bars in town during 2019 – and it’s expanding its offering, kicking off next weekend with a three-day festival full of live music, street food, pop-up bars and more.

Lah Lah Fest will take place between Thursday November 14 and Saturday 16 on the bar’s brand-new outdoor terrace area, dubbed Lah Lah Bazaar. The terrace will be open throughout the winter, promising a huge area for enjoying the cooler weather, and this weekend’s festival will see it open in style.

Thursday November 14 will kick off the three-day hops festival with a range of different drinks, plus canapé-sized bites like chicken yakitori, beef rending and noodles from a dedicated food truck throughout the night, plus live music, DJ sets and more going on throughout the night. For what it’s worth, the restaurant has also got a dedicated vegan menu to enjoy, too.

On Friday 15, there’s an expanded version of the For the Love of Brunch Friday brunch session that will run from 2pm until 5pm from Dhs299 for pan-Asian grub all afternoon with soft drinks, and Dhs375 for house and Dhs450 for sparkling. There’s a five-drink package from 5pm until 8pm for Dhs150, and for one weekend only the brunch will run again from 7pm until 10pm. There’s going to be a live band and DJ throughout the afternoon and evening too.

Finally, there’s a community day on Saturday 16, with kids’ activities, games, a special kids’ menu starting from Dhs39, a bouncy castle, live entertainment and another three-hour brunch package for parents and friends for Dhs245 to grab, too.

Lah Lah Bazaar, the terrace, will be open throughout winter, so it’s time to go and enjoy the better weather.
