New Anatolian restaurant ALACA is now open at Palm Jumeirah’s The Pointe.
The venue is helmed by chef Abdullah Korkmaz and the menu blends Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine with a mission to “revive the culture of the ancient world” by.
Menu highlights manti (fresh dumplings filled with beef), lamb roasted in ALACA’s signature sauce, calamari served in a creamy sauce with squid ink, grilled octopus, and anchovies drizzled in olive oil, lemon and parmesan.
Found on The Pointe’s west side and still in its soft opening, ALACA is open daily from 10am until midnight during the week and from 9am until midnight on weekends.
The restaurant – which is currently awaiting its alcohol license – has a wide selection of mocktails, smoothies and non-alcoholic grape, but once it receives its license (which should be sometime this week), visitors can enjoy a drink with their meal.
