What does the business do?
Financial Rebellion is a new book that empowers business owners to understand their numbers, grow their profit, save tax, and build financial freedom. It is written by Liz Jarvis, a Chartered Accountant, Financial Mentor and Founder of Better Business Decisions.
What was the main problem?
Liz had written a new book and wanted a separate brand from her main business. She wanted a place to send people to learn more, purchase the book through Amazon, join her email list and community and eventually promote an online program. This was a new website so we were able to model it off of what bestselling authors have done to promote their books.

What we did to optimise their website for conversions:
Promote the book using an Amazon affiliate link
There are multiple buttons on the page for people to purchase the book on Amazon. The links use Liz’s affiliate link so she can track purchases that come from her.
Tease what people will learn so people are excited to buy the book
We added a section that includes info she can’t fit on the cover of the book that serves as a sneak peak inside the book. The aim is to entice people to purchase to get access to those items.
Promote a freebie with purchase to build an email list
We graphically designed a 3-step process instructing someone to buy the book and share their order number in exchange for a free resource that supplements what they will learn in the book. This is a perfect way to build an email list – something you can’t do from selling a book on Amazon.
Join her community
Even if someone does not buy the book, but still wants to get involved, they can join her free community and will get loads of value. The inclusions are clearly outlined and this is another way for Liz to build her email list and eventually sell an online program.
